In a week where Valve announced a new living-room PC, an entirely new OS, and a new way to control PC games, it seems odd that we'd have any more MAJOR NEWS from them. But there is one piece of the puzzle everyone's been waiting for.
This morning, an eagle-eyed person at
neogaf.com noticed that Valve had filed a trademark - in Europe - for Half Life 3. You can view that trademark here:
What does this mean? Possibly nothing - Valve could just be protecting their rights to the name. According to the fine folks on Reddit, the trademark has no time limit, so this could mean Half Life 3 is coming soon. Or it could be coming in 2999. Fingers crossed.
