Scream Queens - New series from the creators of Glee and American Horror Story to air on Fox this fall

They're at it again - the creators of "Glee" and "American Horror Story" and Fox are bringing us a new anthology series! Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck, the first season of the new horror/comedy series  "Scream Queens" will center around a college sorority. In 1995, a pledge had gone very wrong (as these things do). Now, on the 20-year anniversary of the crime, the campus is rocked by a series of murders. Someone is out for vengeance. Here's a teaser:

According to Fox, this is already in series production. The cast is full of people you've seen before - Emma Roberts ("American Horror Story") and Lea Michele ("Glee") are both back. Jamie Lee Curtis - THE Scream Queen herself - is also here as the Dean of the college. Some other cast members include:
  • KeKe Palmer
  • Abigail Breslin
  • Nick Jonas
  • Niecy Nash
  • Ariana Grande
  • Carrie Underwood (guest appearance or cameo)
  • Lindsey Lohan (guest appearance, one episode)
In an interview with EW, Ryan Murphy gives us a few bits about this new show. "Unlike American Horror Story, which completely reboots, this has some of the continuity in that some of the characters and some of the relationships continue into a new world." He also reveals that there will be a new victim every week, and clues to the killer's identity will be piling up as the series goes on.

"Scream Queens" is set for the fall viewing season, with the pilot airing in September 2015.
