Renner and Evans call Black Widow a "Slut," and Why That's Not a Joke

The internet is pretty upset today, at two of its heroes, and I think it'd be good to have a brief discussion as to why. As you may have heard, an interview was released this morning with Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner. The interviewer asked a sorta softball question about "shipping," and how the boys felt about Black Widow being paired up with Bruce Banner, instead of either of the two of their characters. Renner responded with a joke, which you can see in the full clip after the jump.

Jurassic World Reveals its Mega-Dinosaur in New Trailer!

This weekend has been insane for new trailers. First, The Force Awakens knocked our socks off. Then, Batman vs Superman disappointed us and Fantastic Four intrigued us. Now, Jurassic World is trying to take some of our hard earned money, and they may just succeed. Check out the new trailer for Jurassic World right after the jump.

The X-files is Back!

It's finally official - Fox released a press release this morning confirming they've put The X-files back into the production. The seminal 90s sci-fi TV show, featuring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, is still highly celebrated amongst its fanbase, with its popularity justifying two feature films after it was cancelled. Now, thanks to that same fan demand, the show will return to Fox with it's two leads, and original creator Chris Carter at the helm.

Star Wars Reveals Titles, Crew for Two New Movies!

StarWars.com released a ton of new details from a Lucasfilm shareholder meeting, and a lot of it is good! The first piece is a confirmation of something we reported way back when, that Rian Johnson will be writing and directing Episode VIII. This is fantastic news - Johnson's three films have ranged from good (Brothers Bloom) to great (Looper, Brick), and his episodes of Breaking Bad were some of the best in that show's run. We can't wait to see what he does with Star Wars.

The other piece of news concerns the title for Felicity Jones starring Star Wars standalone, directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) and written by Oscar nominee Chris Weitz (About a Boy, Cinderella). The film is entitled "Rogue One," and was developed based on an idea that John Knoll, Chief Creative Officer at ILM, had. If that name doesn't excite you, let me explain why it should: Rogue One is the callsign for the leader of Rogue Squadron, the X-wing pilots that heroically led the charge for the Rebel Alliance and were immortalized in the series of X-wing: Rogue Squadron books. The books are no longer canon, but a film all about X-wing fighters could be amazing. And while she's not confirmed to be playing Rogue One, a film about a female leader of a group of X-wing pilots would be friggin' gold.

Chris Pratt Makes Good on Superbowl Bet with Children's Hospital Visit

You may have heard by now about the Superbowl twitter bet that went down between two of the three Marvel Chris's - Chris Pratt (Starlord) and Chris Evans (Captain America). In the most superhero-y bet of all time, the two agreed to visit Children's Hospitals in each other's cities if their team lost the Superbowl. In one of the most dramatic endings in recent Superbowl memory, the Patriots won, meaning Chris Pratt had to pay up. Today he posted the pictures of his visit to Chris's Haven in Boston, and they're...well, just look for yourself after the jump.

Once again, shaky low quality internet leaks get us all good content early. The folks at Universal have released the Jurassic World trailer way earlier than they originally planned:

So what do you guys think? I'm...cautiously optimistic. It looks fun, and I love the idea that the park has finally opened, but I'm worried about all the extra sci-fi elements being added. It could be awesome, or it could be overwhelming. We'll see when Jurassic World hits theaters in June.
