Star Wars Celebration Day Three:

Saturday of Star Wars Celebration was an incredible experience, but it was also the most crowded - while days Zero, One and Two  felt a little smaller and more intimate, Day Three was the full-on Comic-con experience. Lines were doubled in length, crowds were everywhere...and it was maybe the most fun we've had at the con all week. Check out our X-wing Experience, the newest news on Clone Wars, and panels with James Arnold Taylor and Mark Hamill!

iZombie Season 1 Episode 3 - The Exterminator Recap

Things get real on iZombie this week! Liv uncovers new evidence in a case that Peyton was prosecuting that connects to a case that Clive is working on, and what she finds puts Peyton's career in jeapeordy. It also puts Ravi in danger - but she just doesn't care, thanks to the brain of a guy who did some bad stuff.

This is developing into something so much better than I had dared to hope for! There were a couple of "Jeez WTF!" moments for me, and a few "AHA! Now it makes sense!" things. And there was a really fun zombie bash scene that had me going "YESSS!" It's a good thing I was watching this by myself, or I would have really annoyed someone.

There are some scenes and dialogue that aren't what I would consider suitable for younger viewers, but they definitely add to the context of the story and action. The voice-over narratives are becoming more relevant and less redundant, which is a good thing. There are fewer narrative break-ins, and the ones that do occur now bring more context and detail to the scene and storyline.

Like I said in my recap of the pilot episode, I wasn't a very big fan of Veronica Mars - but I am absolutely going to give it another go, after seeing the way iZombie is shaping up. I have the feeling I won't be disappointed.

Our recap starts after the jump!

Tron 3 Shooting this Fall?

This one was buzzing about the internet earlier today, but we were waiting for some more reputable sources to post it - now Badass Digest has. Apparently, Tron 3 will be filming this fall in Vancouver, with the original director, Joseph Kosinski, returning to helm the franchise. No word on anything else so far, and since the only source is a anonymous, keep your grains of salt handy.

I absolutely loved Tron: Legacy - it was one of my favorite movies of that year. The script isn't the strongest, but it's servicable, and the direction and design of the world really take it to the next level. I'm ecstatic to see how Sam and Quorra's story continues in and out of the real world - hopefully, this picks up the threads of the first film, with Cillian Murphy's cameo appearance building into a full, villainous role.

And of course, it absolutely will not work without Daft Punk.

Glad to see Disney is still committed to this franchise, despite their relentless pursuit of the destruction of Tron: Uprising.

Age of Ultron, Trailer 3!

Prepare your fangasms, kids. The third trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron is here, and it reveals more of the film than ever before. (So, if you want to go in spoiler free, probably avoid this one.) Check out new footage of the Avengers disassembling as the robot Ultron tears them apart from the inside, after the jump.

The Librarians and the Rule of Three Recap!

This episode opens in a high school student's bedroom. He's getting ready for a science fair presentation. While he puts on his tie, he reviews the periodic table and rehearses his presentation. As he finishes tying his his tie, his body starts to petrify and something strange flows through the veins of his outstretched arm. The paralysis completes as a single tear runs down his cheek.

The Legend of Korra: Season 3 Trailer!

(Update: The real trailer is here! Check it out after the jump.)

The Legend of Korra is a polarizing show - so many people want so many things from the sequel to The Last Airbender, that reactions to it range from love to hate to everything in between. Me, personally, I love the show. I haven't bonded with the characters the way I did with Aang, Sokka, Katara and Zuko, but I have enjoyed the first two seasons, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it can go in the future, especially now that the writers aren't tied down with the idea that they're only a mini-series. The trailer for season 3 just appeared on the internet, so go check it out below.
