Assassin's Creed Unity, and the Difficulty of Modern Franchises
Video games have evolved as the art form has demanded. From one off games came franchises that rose and fell. For a franchise to succeed, it has to constantly keep up with current technology, add new features, but still stay true to what makes the franchise work. Some games like Super Mario, Mass Effect, Grand Theft Auto, and Legend of Zelda constantly put out high quality games that tend to receive rave reviews. This is rare and difficult to maintain; Bioware has had its struggles with Dragon Age, Activision and its various Call of Duty developers have had troubles of their own, and now it seems that Ubisoft is having trouble with its flagship title Assassin’s Creed.

Four Elemental Reasons why you should be watching Avatar: the Legend of Korra
The Legend of Korra is not a very controversial show, at least among Avatar fans. It is neither disappointing to these fans as a departure from Avatar: The Last Airbender, nor so well received that it experiences the evangelical zeal the first series inspired. But what it is is solid. The show is a solid sequel, a solid kid's show, just solid television in general. While I cannot barely scratch the details that should be considered to rate one of these shows above the other, I did just see the newest episode of LoK and I have good news for anyone whose attention is straying. If you have not yet seen this new episode, or are a season or two behind, keep watching. Here is why.....

The Legend of Korra Book 4 Coming THIS October!
| They look so happy! |
We've literally just finished reviewing the finale of the Legend of Korra, which means that it's time to settle in for a nice long wait. It was a couple of years between Seasons One and Two, after all. No new Korra for the time being then, I guess I'll just watch-
What?
The Legend of Korra is coming back October 3rd?
Like...THIS October 3rd?
Yes, in a pretty stunning move, Nickelodeon has decided to not make anybody wait for more Korra. While they're not going full Netflix and releasing the whole season at once, starting in a few weeks, we're getting more Korra on our internets every single Friday. Just not on our TVs, because Nick doesn't want us to do that anymore.
Stay tuned to the Ace of Geeks for more thoughts on Korra as this story develops!
